New job
Just a little shoutout to the public: I have a new job already!
It's been a week since I started at Franklin Covey and so far, everything's great. I'm currently being trained to become an Assistant Manager in one of their retail stores and the pay is really good. On top of that, I'm getting benefits such as medical and dental insurance, 401 K (sort of a retirement fund that is non-taxable), paid time off (I get paid even if I don't go to work - on some days, that is...), and other stuff. It's really cool.
However, it's no walk in the park. I feel a little bit of pressure because I have so much to learn. I know I can do it but well, I can't help but feel the stress. I know someday, all this will be behind me once I learn the ropes.
Anyway, that's the latest in Buhay Amerika.

Congratulations on your new job! :) Pretty good company to work for, methinks. "10 Habits of Highly Effective Teens" is a great book. Did I tell you I took an elective on that?
Thanks! I was pretty surprised I got the job, amidst all the people I was competing against. Got lucky, I guess. It's really nice to work for this company because it boosts my "employment reputation", so to speak. If and when I decide to leave this company (which I don't think I will in the near future), I'm pretty sure I'll have an easier time finding a new job. :)
I haven't read "7 Habits of Highly Effective People", though. When I get free time, I will.
You took an elective on that during college? I didn't know they had a class just for that! Was it a good class? Tell me about it! :D
