A year ago...

Scenario: Centennial Airport, Manila, Philippines. April 16, 2004, 4:30 PM. One day before I would finally leave the Philippines for a new life in America.

"Hindi ko naman ine-expect yung 'oo' o 'hindi' eh. I just wanted you to know (that you're the one) because you deserve to know..."

These were the same exact words I told this special person last year when I finally told her what I really felt for her. Truth is, I still feel the same until now.
